Sum bitch

So i come home from the reel big fish concert and i take a look at my yard and i cant believe my eyes. Moles somehow in 6 hrs tore my whole yard up. Fucking tunnels everywhere. I can not wait to go to earl may and pick up some stuff to end there existence tomorrow. Im so pissed i really take pride in my yard now it looks like it belongs on the southside of des moines. Man im pissed.
Reel big fish was good but a key member was missing so it was not the same show. They really lost a few steps with out Scott there to play guitar/vocals/trumpet. Oh well
Im pumped for sept 30th Sound of Urchin in La crosse but its a boat show folks. They got a boat and its out on the mississippi river. Should be a real good time and i cant wait to hear the new album which ill get a copy of at the show.
Tomorrow i work in Waterloo, which kinda sucks since its a long ass drive.
Today i went to clarion iowa to my finances family deal. It sucked and was boring. Highlight was buster going face to face with a 200 lb st bernard.

Some quick hits:
I sat right next to hooten at wrestling i mean right next to him. What are the odds. God put us together. I also sat with Al Hooten and Hootens sister Hootie. He clapped the whole time and ate the smelliest hot dog ever. Angie said he smelled like shit. Al had 2 large popcorns by himself. Hooten would cream in his pants when the girls came out. It was so weird to just sit and watch him for a few hours.
Ive worked 30 hrs already this week i cant wait till friday im gonna work 10 hrs of OT. Im gonna be printing money daddy. Ive also decided Dodge Caliber when the time comes hopefully sometime this year

The best of times and worst of times at Popeyes

So saturday i was out and about and i realized i had a coupon for a free 2 piece chicken at popeyes. I was right by there so i thought id run in and grab lunch to go. So i go inside and as i walk in one door a group of 16 black dudes gets in right in front of me so i knew i was screwed. They ordered 4 16pcks of chicken so i knew it was gonna be a long wait for me. I was the only white dude in the place and it took me back to a time in KC when special olympics and i went to arthur byrants with the same circumstances. I finally get up there and give up my coupon and tanisha the checker says you still got one of these? I was like uh yeah. She tells me i dont think we take this anymore. I said yes you do it says it expires on the 16th of june. Finally the manger gave it to me like they should of anyways. I then had to wait 15 min for my food for a grand total of a 35 min wait. That sucked. However i got home and the chicken was acutally pretty good, so good its off the black list. I will go back. It also did not give me lucas freese which was nice. Speaking of its his bday today so take a crap in his honor or something

DES MOINES — Iowa legislators agreed Wednesday that mixed martial
arts fighting is bad for the state, but they couldn't agree on what
to do about it.
The Iowa Senate voted 35-12 to end state regulation of this type of
fighting, also known as shoot fighting, extreme fighting or ultimate
fighting. The bill will head to the House.
The lead sponsor, Sen. Bill Dotzler, D-Waterloo, said the bill will
shield the state from liability if someone is injured or dies in a
professional mixed martial arts event. He said the measure comes
forward because not enough senators can agree to either ban the sport
or modify the regulations.
"We've begun to realize the real danger of this sport," he said.
This is the latest step in Iowa's decade-long attempt to deal with
this rapidly growing sport. Monte Cox of Bettendorf, a top manager
and promoter of mixed martial arts competitors, said the state is
making a big mistake.
"De-regulating it is the biggest pansy way out of this situation," he
said.
Cox has concerns that a lack of regulation will be an invitation for
unethical promoters to hold fights in unsafe conditions. He said that
would increases the chances of serious injuries or deaths.
Bettendorf has become a center for mixed martial arts fighting
because of Cox and trainer Pat Miletich. Nationwide, the sport has
grown into a pay-per-view TV phenomenon, with hundreds of millions of
dollars in annual sales.
Sen. Herman Quirmbach,
D-Ames, isn't a fan.
He voted against the bill because he would rather see the state ban
this kind of fighting.
"That's not a sport. It is a barbaric, disgusting, degrading and
subhuman activity that really has no place in the state of Iowa," he
said.
The only physician in the Legislature, Sen. David Hartsuch,
R-Bettendorf, said he has seen patients come into the emergency room
with injuries from mixed martial arts fighting.
"This is a barbaric sport," he said.
A former Bettendorf legislator, Republican Rep. Joe Hutter, used to
be the lead defender of the sport in the Legislature. But Hutter
failed in his bid for re-election last year.
Without Hutter around, people like Cox don't know who to talk to
about their concerns. Cox said he believes legislators would want to
regulate the sport if they understood the safety consequences of not
regulating.
Boxing, wrestling and mixed martial arts fighting are overseen by the
Iowa labor commissioner, Dave Neil, who recommended the Senate bill.
Cox said Iowa is somewhat unique in having the labor department
oversee sports. He said the state would be better off if it had a
sports commissioner who was an expert in sports regulation.
