Dog fight to the death....almost

Yesterday im laying on the floor playing with Buster who has a toy rope. He lets out a growl while playing all is cool or is it? No its not. Gizmo looks up from his nap and thinks Buster is attacking me and comes sprinting off the couch and jumps over me onto Buster and its on. These dogs fight every now and again but this time it was for death. Gizmo grabs on to Busters throat and wont let go Busters fighting back and the sounds these guys are making are blood curdling. I try to break it up 3 times getting my hand bit to hell each time. Finally i just scoop Gizmo up off the ground and chuck him in the basement real fast and shut the door so they could cool off. My hands bleeding all over and i check to see if Buster is alive. He is i then let Gizmo back in and they both lay down on the couch together like nothing even happened. Stupid dogs. It kind of looked like this but about 98% more violent
